I will sadly have to CANCEL the St Helena Guided tour. I have been waiting for the forecast conditions to improve in the bay before having to make this decision.The BOM forecast for Saturday 24 Oct.:
These wind conditions exceeds QSKC Guidelines for a Grade 1 paddle. The return journey from the island in the middle of the day would have been very challenging for novice paddlers. I also communicated with our guide who was also paddling with us and he expressed some apprehension about kayaking in these conditions. I will reschedule this event in the future and give all of you a chance to participate.
Our events are at the mercy of the weather and we will always keep members safe on the water.
