Depart The Gold Coast Broadwater from James Cook Esplanade and into the Ephraim Island residential sanctuary and then north to a mangrove lagoon (just after high tide). South to Wave Break Island and then return. Hopefully we will get in and out of the lagoon just after high tide. The outgoing tide will will take us south along South Stradbroke Island to Wave Break. Southerly winds will then blow us back to our launch point with some luck?
