Brief Description of Activities: We will depart from Jacobs Well VMR (just to the west of the VMR) at 9am to make use of the outgoing tide to head to South Stradbroke Island. Once at South Stradbroke, we will enjoy a morning tea break and weather depending, we may walk across to the ocean side for a quick swim. Upon returning to the western side, we can have a lunch break. Again, weather dependant, we may have a paddle along the shoreline before returning on the same route back to Jacobs Well. Time wise, we may or may not come back with the incoming tide, it will be dependent on the day on how much time we spend at South Stradbroke.
