Gale Warning for Saturday for Sunshine Coast Waters
- Winds
- North to northeasterly 25 to 30 knots tending north to northwesterly 15 to 25 knots in the middle of the day then tending northeast to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the evening. Winds up to 40 knots possible depending on movement and development of Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia.
- Waves
- Seas and swell exceeding 4m.
- Weather
- Cloudy. 95% chance of rain. The chance of a thunderstorm.
- Caution
- Large and powerful surf conditions in the early morning are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.

Launch Power Boat Club Esplanade Rd Golden Beach paddling South and explore the upper Pumicestone passage land on Bribie and walk through to the surf for a swim or just a walk.
Then paddle down towards the Caloundra Bar before returning to the Power Boat Club; Bring morning tea and we will decide where to stop on the day;
